I fully intended to post a detailed account of my trip to California.  But I never seem to have time to sit down and do it, or when I do, it's much too late and I'm exhausted.  This is partly because even though I had a wonderful time on vacation, I didn't get much sleep.  So I came back more tired than I was when I left.  Cest la vie...

My hurrah for today is... I got a job!

Yes, I know it's hard to believe.  But it's true.  I am an Administrative Assistant (same company I worked for last summer, but this time I'm a direct hire, not through a temp agency) AND I'm getting paid more!  I start tomorrow morning, so no more sleeping in... and less time to read... but that's all right ( Read more... )
