I have triumphed over Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story! And while I was not a 100% completionist, I did get a high percentage of the (largely useless) items. Let me tell you though, that final boss is ANNOYING. I think it took me between an hour to an hour and a half to finish him off. Ugh. I was losing patience fast by the end.
In other news, we went to Target today to get cheap Easter candy, but alas, they had none. In fact, the girl I asked said they sold out on Saturday. All they had was lame baskets and super lame bags of Easter grass (which needs to be banned from the Earth, in my opinion, but I'll just have to settle for banning it from anywhere I will ever live). We did, however, have a lovely rain/sleet/snow storm whip up on the drive home. And no, I was not wearing my magical boots, so that just might explain why.
I quite enjoyed General Conference this past weekend, of course. Kudos to Pres. Monson's Sunday morning talk on death/the resurrection and Elder Holland's talk on Saturday on avoiding temptation for being the most memorable. I also got about 8 rows done on my doily. Yay! Maybe I will finish it next April... given that I only work on it during General Conference twice a year... at least this time I left a mark so I could tell which doily I was even working on. Last time I didn't so I had to match what I'd done so far to one of the pictures in my book when I pulled it out Saturday.
Good news (unrelated to anything else): I got all my vacation hours approved for the family reunion! So yes I will be there the whole time, AND I get go to MR's baptism. This makes me very happy.
And now, I believe an apple pie in the fridge is in dire need of some attention...
