Not that exciting, but it will make Mom happy
Mom's been after me to post more frequently (and, admittedly, I have been slacking lately) so that's why I keep posting short things in hopes of appeasing her.
Today's vastly exciting news: we purchased new bathroom rugs today! We had previously been using a nasty little cheap mat for the last 2 and a half years, but when I had to literally rip it off the bathroom floor to clean the floor and it left gross residue from the underside of the mat all over the floor, I decided it was done. Into the trash it went (and then I washed my hands). That was a week ago. Today I was tired of having nothing but a hand towel to absorb shower drippings, so we went to Target and found some nice brown rugs (one "Walrus Brown", and one with a nice stripe-y pattern). Rugs, I might add, that are machine washable, suitable to put in the dryer, and do not have the nasty rubbery backing that our last one did. Hooray. Terribly exciting, I know.
Well, I did warn you in the subject.
Anyway, in other equally exciting news, I am enjoying rhb working in the same building as I do, and we have even transferred to each other twice so far. So precious. His first week of taking calls went quite smoothly, and I think he now understands how cathartic it is to talk about especially memorable calls on the way home from work.
