After a bit of a break from the near-constant reading I used to do, I went to the library again for the first time in several months.  No, I didn't stop reading for several months, I just acquired my books from other sources and didn't read quite as much.  Anyway, I made up for it today by reading three.  It was positively delightful to just sit ( Read more... )

Tonight was probably the first time ever where at the last FHE of the year we didn't write new year's resolutions.  Instead we had a five minute lesson on prayer and ate apple-ca-dapple crisp (made by my niece with some help) with ice cream.  There are definitely benefits to having small children around.  Especially when they like being in charge ( Read more... )
