we are now, officially, moved out of the townhouse.

5 pm - 11 pm yesterday was spent cleaning, mostly the kitchen. i rendered the appliances spotless, and i am not ashamed in my pride of said accomplishment. many things in that house weren't totally clean when we moved in, and one carpet patch aside, i firmly believe we're leaving it in better ( Read more... )

my keys were up at the vallejo house, thank goodness. i dislike how moving disrupts one's routine. i don't personally mind a routine that is varied, but my body sure is annoyed. still, better to be sick now than on moving day(s).

• my hip is jacked up thanks to muscle spasms, but it is recovering. i can walk and stand up straight. hot baths help. lying down for eight hours does not.

i feel really icky right now -- i overdrafted my checking account. it's my fault because i stopped checking the balance over the holidays, even though a few big things go through at the end of the month, and a very large check from a client came in late. i'm hoping i can get wamu to wave the overdraft fee ( Read more... )
