I have my phone hearing with the disability officer with social security today, as part of my SSI re-evaluation denial appeal. I'm a mess and a basketcase. Not gonna take anything to help me with my anxiety, bc that seems counterintruitive in this situation.

She's not out to them; they are very homophobic, and have said they would disown a child who was LGBTQ. They know me as a very good friend to my wifey, and they know that Nate calls me momo. So, today, I told my girlfriend that I messed up my bank account during late January.  I overdrew my account by 50 cents because I bought a gift on EBay for our anniversary.  I had thought I could fix it quickly, but I wasn't able to; as a result, I ended up with massive fines, and now my account seems to be closed.  She said her feelings were hurt ( Read more... )

A month ago, I started volunteering at Stonewall Columbus, which is the primary gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender organization in my city.  For the most part, there's nothing to do there.  Occasionally answering phones, going to the post office to check the mail, etc.  I mainly read library books and play around online, waiting for something to do.

About a week ago, my girlfriend and I went to a local hotel to celebrate our 3rd anniversary.  It was the romantic suite, complete with an in-room jacuzzi-for-two.
