Back from the vet!!! Lydia just had an abscess. They drained it, and she'll be on antibiotics. I am SO RELIEVED.

So, wifey's last rat The Brain died a couple of weeks ago :-( He was pretty old, and he seemed to have had a stroke, or something, based on his symptoms. We held him and comforted him a lot, and he eventually died in his sleep ( Read more... )
