So another birthday has come to pass. Unfortunately on that self-same day I caught the cold of doom which is continuing to plague me today. It hurts to swallow, my throat is so sore.

Yeah, so yesterday wasn't the best day though I assumed as much when I signed up for this Masters' seminar course. But I did get a surprise cake in the middle of class which was great. I almost cried. I really appreciated the effort that went into that to try and make my birthday better.

Oh, the joys and tribulations of travel. Now cheer up mopey head and get some sleep so you can officially start your birthday in the morning; today shouldn't be full of frowns and emo-laced grumpy thoughts but photos, phone calls, and cake.

I'll be 27 in two days. Time seems to be going by so fast; flying by, even. It's almost hard to believe that one year has passed and my time in Australia is up. My birthday's on Monday and I've been thinking of a suitable "gift" for myself and I've come up with wanting a really strange color of hair thrown in the mix, like bright flaming red or purple or something BUT even though I don't have a job now I'd like to get a job later on and I'm wondering how strange bits of color would affect that possibility ( Read more... )
