My violin broke. I've been very pleased with how well it has been holding its tuning. I've gotten better at hearing if the notes are right on, or not. Sometimes the first two notes are good, but by the time I get to the third note, it's off, or sometimes the right notes are further up the string.

Autumn 2022I just wrote in my journal for awhile and then tried to upload it and it didn't work.  Then I tried to copy and paste it so I couldn't lose it and I lost it anyway.  What a bummer.

the colours are very lovely near the lakes on Hwy 7.  Lots of bright reds.  I've been working on my grass hut, or Sedge Meadow tipi.

We went over to Alida's and played with Desmond. He's such a darling. They play such cute games together. He opens his mouth and Alida opens hers, then he closes his and she closes hers. I called my cousin, Mary on facetime. We had a wonderful visit, or morning together. I took her around and showed her all the changes that had happened in the house upstairs especially. I set my ipod in the gorilla tripod, set it on the loom bench and got out my violin ( Read more... )

When we got home, the first thing I did was go to the loft to have a look at what I could get rid of. I went through the clothes, bagged them up to go to the greenhouse and the reuse center at the dump and tossed them overboard into the living room. I left home an hour early, called Mary and had a visit with her while I headed out of Athens to visit with Deana and Emily. I drove around Old Hull Road trying to figure out where her house was before they tore it down and moved the road around. It's impossible to find it now.
