I cleaned up my lofty treefort and put the other lounge chair from our bedroom in there. Now both matching chairs are in there. Now willem and I can sit together in there. I tidied up all the baskets and bags of yarns and other such things to make room for the chair ( Read more... )

I've been spinning and weaving in the Treehouse Room of Accomplishment. I vacuumed in there first. It smells like mice, but not as strongly as it did before. I think I have to remove everything from in there and clean it out. I'm not too thrilled that it smells like mice.

When we got home, the first thing I did was go to the loft to have a look at what I could get rid of. I went through the clothes, bagged them up to go to the greenhouse and the reuse center at the dump and tossed them overboard into the living room. I woke up PAINFREE!! I went for a walk to the pond, even carrying down some plastic chairs! While down there I tossed some of the wooden stakes up onto the laneway where they can dry and I can pick them up with the car later. Ginny wanted to put trim on the closet and loft doors in her bedroom. She would the trim. \we measured and cut an dnairled it in place! now the room looks much more finished than it did before! Yippee!

I've been working on the hole/doorway into the loft. I charged up the sawzall, then cut the top of the opening level. I need a long 1x6 to do a proper job of framing the inside of the door. I have the trim to put up against the inner frame on both sides ( Read more... )
