Moving into the Room of Accomplishment (the loft)

When we got home, the first thing I did was go to the loft to have a look at what I could get rid of. I went through the clothes, bagged them up to go to the greenhouse and the reuse center at the dump and tossed them overboard into the living room. I emptied three boxes and was able to put all the yarns and cones of threads further into the skinny part of the loft room.

I set up my loom and tightened the warp. It worked. It didn't need a lot of tweaking either!!

I asked Willem to help me bring the deer feed from the car to the side of the house where I could put it into the metal garbage container. He also retrieved the nine black rubber deer bowls. I filled them all and arranged them on the top of Sunrise Hillside where they came last year, Hilltop Deer Café.

I brought in the tall lamp. I turned the rug around so it covers the floor area I am using.

I brought up my violin and took most of the plastic straps to a bag. I wove the rest of one of the chairs with the straps and invited Willem to come up.

I actually opened my violin case and played for about an hour, lots of songs and hymns. It was a lovely time in there. The area is so clean and tidy, a place for accomplishing things. I need to bring in some fleece to spin while I sit there waiting for the deer to come in the evenings.

I feel so good about my room! It's a wonderful place. I am going to call it The Room of Accomplishment! Or Accomplishment Treehouse. Or perhaps just the Loft. Maryjane is so wise to tell me to use that room for my weaving! She's such a smart cookie!
