Autumn 2022I just wrote in my journal for awhile and then tried to upload it and it didn't work. Then I tried to copy and paste it so I couldn't lose it and I lost it anyway. What a bummer.
the colours are very lovely near the lakes on Hwy 7. Lots of bright reds. I've been working on my grass hut, or Sedge Meadow tipi.
I"ve been making lots of baskets, too. Two flower baskets for my girls and five square wood -bottomed willow baskets.
Ava's been coming and cleaning every week, so the house is looking very nice.
We are on the way to the temple for the first time since we were at the camp. We finished our mission, as Alida needed help with childcare. We've not had a free Thursday, Friday or Saturday for weeks, except one day when it didn't seem to be the right thing to do that day.
I've been playing my violin a lot, both at home, at the grass hut tipi and even at the dump sometimes.
An interesting person stopped at the tipi. He's got three media companies and wants me to dempnstrate adding grass to the hut. Someone would like to come film me for six hours while I work on stuff. He knows about how to do stuff cos he has been to Camaroon and learned stuff there.
