Yesterday was sunny mostly - the forecast said 14C/57F, but our back garden was a lot warmer than that. I spent the morning making fresh goat's cheese (which I haven't done for ages) and a tomato sauce for pasta as I had a glut of tomatoes ( Read more... )

Today's forecast 11C/52F sunny intervals - and yes there have been sunny intervals so far!

We decided to go for a walk today in a nature reserve we haven't been to before. It was a good day for a walk, and under the cut is a short video of the 2.8 mile walk in the sunshine! We met lots of dogs on the walk who were all very happy and muddy LOL!

Without having our usual scheduled exercise each day I'm getting confused about what day it is! Neither of us slept very well last night as there was torrential rain and gusting wind which kept waking us up. Yesterday was a busy day. I was really tired when I woke up, so it was a bit of a struggle to get going. In the morning we had online Tai Chi. We are learning a new 'form' which was made up of 12 different stretchy, slow moves (called Yi Jin Jing Qigong). It was nice, but it was really difficult to do everything so slowly.
