A busy couple of days!

Yesterday was sunny mostly - the forecast said 14C/57F, but our back garden was a lot warmer than that. I spent the morning making fresh goat's cheese (which I haven't done for ages) and a tomato sauce for pasta as I had a glut of tomatoes

I have a friend like that too. Not only does she not own a smartphone but she doesn’t have an answerphone either so getting in touch with her can be quite difficult. So many things are governed by technology now that I feel it’s quite foolish to get too out of touch.

I think having no tech means you can’t do a lot of things these days (even fact checking something you’ve read is almost impossible!). I really could not have that ability - and I like to have information to hand about all kinds of things.

S2C doesn't own any sort of phone - he says they are too small for him to see to use them, which is a fair point, but he does respond to emails - and we do have an answer phone although he rarely notices if there is a message on it or not!

I often forget to take mine out with me unless I’m going somewhere I don’t know very well as the navigation is so good!

Things are getting better - we actually looked at a property Tuesday (it did not suit at all); I got a mug from the Co-op out of the trip, and P. was out of the flat for a bit. I should write a thing.
