Yesterday got away from me - it was pretty boring with lots of sorting of a couple of my living room cupboards and cleaning. In the evening there was our tough Pilates class where we used weights. Yesterday we visited Warner Brothers: The Making of Harry Potter tour which is based in NW London. We'd opted to go by coach which we caught from London Victoria, so we caught the train there first at 9 am and we were at the tour just after 11 am which was about the same as if we'd driven there, but a lot less stressful (we hate the manic drivers ( Read more... )

This week we revisited the beginnings of German Expressionism with Wassily Kandinsky and his student (and then his lover) Gabriele Münter (who he treated appallingly!). I had a bit of a result yesterday when I dropped off the stained glass orders to my hairdresser - one of the customers took one of the angels I'd made and the salon owner ordered 10 more from me. Yesterday we went to see Black Adam - it was good fun! It's probably the best DC-based film we've seen (other than Superman, we've found most of the adaptations rather tedious).
