What day is it???
Without having our usual scheduled exercise each day I'm getting confused about what day it is! Neither of us slept very well last night as there was torrential rain and gusting wind which kept waking us up. Today we have a weather warning for wind in place and 12C/52F and cloudy, although there have been some bright sunny intervals too.
This morning we had our online Tai Chi lesson which was fun! We are getting better at balancing (which often surprises me when we end up standing on one leg and not falling over LOL!), and at remembering what's coming next. We both love it.
This afternoon I made some fresh wild garlic pesto using one of our homegrown lemons which was very satisfying! I also made a butternut squash galette which is always delicious - I substituted manchego cheese as that's all I had. We will have that for dinner tonight as we don't have our Pilates class this evening.
In other news, we have sold our Smart car! We were going to trade it in for the new electric version which should be delivered this month (we don't have a date yet), but the trade-in was low compared to other places. So instead we tried a company that sells for you and picks up the car once sold. Mr Cee sent the details and lots of photos to the site yesterday, it went online to be sold at 10am, and we have just had the confirmation that it's sold now (5pm)! The sale is more than one thousand pounds than if we'd traded it in which is very good news! We can still get around as we have the electric Leaf, and we shall celebrate once we have the new electric Smart :)
In other, other news - the BBC have dramatised Kate Atkinson's novel 'Life After Life' which should be interesting - I loved that story. It'll be on towards the end of the month :)
7. Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life?
I should think all fictional characters would be boring as they wouldn't have anything to say in real life....? No? Rather like a puppet without an operator....
