Had a dream last night that the whole population were now Reaver-style vampires, and I was trying to sneak onto a space shuttle that would take me to an outer space colony of the last survivors. Had a handful of kids from the daycare with me. I have no idea what this means psychologically.

I am ashamed that I discovered her works so late in life, (about two years ago) when I really would have gone into complete literary fangirl mode for them around high school years, when I was wasting time by reading the latter half of Anne Rice's vampire series. Whenever I have some big issue in my life, (friend or family drama, usually,) I can't go a night without dreaming some big solution to it, or some scenario in which the problem goes away. AUGH. At least they're still technically good dreams.

If there's any trend in my dreams, it's amazingly detailed, whimsical surroundings, and a plot along the lines of a fantasy novel. When I dream about houses, they have far too many rooms on the inside than they should, all the rooms are very unusually arranged and decorated, and many have elements of the unreal to them. I went to the Sugarloaf Craft fair with aflightoffancy, and we unwisely hit the food area first. I am soooo weak to food. They had all sorts of stands selling breads and cakes and cookies and suchlike, as well as artisanal maple syrup, honey, and various jams. Had a strangely fairy tale-themed dream last night. The visual effect was a mix between Chinese and Japanese architecture. I was walking through some kind of 'spirit world', searching for souls.
