Almost done with my meme responses! (And
onerottenpeach, I haven't forgotten the character meme. It's up right after this writing one is through.)
I have really horrific dreams of my teeth falling out one by one, and last night was one of the worst. I'm not sure if it counts as nightmare, because it was more digusting than frightening, but it wasn't one of my best sleep-induced nightly hallucinations.
It was the left back molar, and it didn't fall out so much as rot away entirely. It was so soft it crumbled into gritty, sandlike paste and little chunks that I spat out, and then a lot of blood and bits of flesh that were crawling with tiny worms.
Yeah. See, that? That's particularly repulsive. I know tooth dreams are somewhat commonplace, but I can do without graphic tooth decay in my dreams. Fortunately, I don't seem to suffer from those other common nightmares: nudity in public places, being unable to run from something chasing you, falling dreams, etc. (I have the opposite of falling dreams. When I fly, I have no control at all and end up sucked up into the sky with no ability to come back down to ground.)
Suffice to say, I brushed my teeth twice this morning.
