Yep.. it's that time of year.  This year I will try (once again) to finish my original steampunk novel.  I started it in 2013.  It took a turn I hadn't expected and I never quite figured out how to get past it.  I did finally plot it out last year, but with my mom's passing last year and being in two shows in November I just couldn't get it ( Read more... )

Found a program that lets you make your own wikis on your computer.  Decided to give it a try while I'm rereading the Face Verse for update... because honestly it would be so much easier to be able to access a wiki to see what I last did then having to reread this monstrosity before I update.... but it's really hard to write a synopsis....  I think ( Read more... )

What I Love About Writing (In no particular order, other than the last being my favorite :P)

1) I love writing verses and sequels because there is this world you establish at some point and each time you go back, it's there just waiting for you!  You just pick up the pieces and go with it.

So... my OT made a comment to me yesterday and I can't get it out of my head.  She said that I should write a book about my experiences as a special needs mother, one with a child who is neurotypical as well and how we/i've handled it and my outlook on it all ( Read more... )

7,800 words in and I've just got him through the first 24 hours on the ship.  Lets hope my montage covers as much ground as the movie's did or i'm screwed.
