We had a small VTES tournament today at the shop. Just five of us. To keep it fair we used pre-constructed decks. It reminded me how much I hate precon decks. The game took almost three hours to play because the decks were so poor. I've just been knocked out, and it looks like Marko is in the winning position as the game starts to wrap up.

Lets see what my week holds...

Today/Monday - Not much. Had a bike ride and some internet time. Am supposed to go cinema tonight but can't really afford it and really fancy an early night.

A much better nights sleep last night. Nothing bugging me anymore. Still tired this morning and my legs ache (have done for a couple mornings) but otherwise good.

Had a very nice day out around Cambridge. Had a bit of a wander in the morning, before meeting Blue_Mochi for lunch. She showed me around the Botanical Gardens (which I have never been too before) before she went back to work. Went to Cambridge last night and played some VTES. Seven player game... too long to do anything. Got bored.
Blue_Mochi bought me white chocolate which I happily devoured during the evening and when I got home. Think I will give up on VTES altogether, as the fun has gone out of the game for me ( Read more... )

The weather has been so changeable lately that I haven't been able to go out and start sorting the garden, or planning for Marko to come help me. So yesturday I started on the living room again. Went to Cambridge tonight to meet the Cambs guys. First time in 2009. Had a few beers, got crushed by stormwytch at Call of Cthulhu, then chattered about 40K and random tat. Came home. A nice evening if rather unproductive. I do kind of miss of the old VTES evenings ( Read more... )
