So, I'm all set to go to the dentists today, and get a phone call from them, which I assume is going to be just the usual reminder...

... but, no, my dentist is ill and gone home, so I've had to reschedule for the 7th Nov now.

Ho hum.

Not a bad day. Yet again woke up before my (11h) alarm. I've been doing that lately, waking up around 09-10h, even if I only went to bed 04-05h, but not feeling tired at all during the day. Of course maccath is making sure I stay busy in WoW Achieving things, which helps.

Today I also went to ( my dentists (cut for length and any dentist-phobes to skip) )

For now anyway. Today I went to have the proper crown fitted on the tooth that was causing me trouble and has now had: a root canal and a temporary filling, something else done and another temporary filling, a proper filling and a temporary crown, and now the final crown. I'm just back from the dentists, which was a whole lot of un-fun. It was 'crown prep' which means them taking impressions of the tooth, for some reason a whole lot more drilling, and a temporary cap being put on. Dentists themselves don't stress me, but when it's something that keeps on triggering my gag reflex, or threatening to, it's no fun at ( Read more... )

So, another trip to the dentists done. I've been told to floss or use teeny brushes on a couple of places where my gum bleeds. I'm totally rebelling against the idea of yet another daily chore to do.

I am just back from London after a lovely late afternoon and early evening with emmavescence. I had a great time, but there is some frustration as she's found herself interested in someone else (who looks to be monogamous), so we're being platonic for now.

Firstly I am feeling better. In fact even by Monday evening, with barely a day on the anti-biotics, I was feeling a little better, less inflammation, if still a fairly swollen tonsil. Over the last few days it's cleared up completely, but I'm being a good patient and finishing the full course of anti-biotics. Last pair to be taken at 22h tonight ( Read more... )
