My last day at my current job is this Friday. On January 3, I start fresh. I'm not sad- changing jobs didn't mean moving somewhere else. Plus, I'll be working at the facility where my current job rehearses and auditions its shows. It feels a little weird. I've been really enjoying my last few weeks though. Today, I had the pleasure of attending the LA Master Chorale's annual holiday concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown LA. Though I have been inside the Hall before, I'd never seen a concert there. I had a great time. Reminded me of high school. :) The acoustics were fantastic! There was no amplification on the choir. I decided to watch a Netflix movie tonight... The Oxford Murders with Elijah Wood and John Hurt. It's weird and mostly bad. The only thing good about it is listening to John Hurt speak. I'm at the Albuquerque airport, at the end of my "micro vacation" to New Mexico. Saturday-Monday. I went shopping, ate delicious food, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. X-Men 3: The Last Stand

Second viewing. Didn't like it. I wasn't a huge fan the first time around, but I think I enjoyed it more. Basically, I didn't like the departure from canon (partly b/c I love the canon and partly b/c the new stuff wasn't good) and thought the level of violence and death was astounding.
