The fandom friend frenzy continued this week!! I saw zorb on Wednesday night. We met for dinner at Paradise Cove in Malibu. PC is reliable. I always have a good time. It's nice with out of town guests and with just Jeff and I. It even works for my loud lovely family!

On Tuesday, February 14, my friends Megan and Jim had their baby. It's a boy, Godfrey. I can't wait to meet him!!

A day or two after that, Jeff's sister, Wendy, got engaged. I got to meet both Wendy and her now fiancé over Christmas.

Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park is one of my favorite places in the world. Expansive green meadows with literal babbling brooks, the occasional wild flower, deer, marmots, spectacular granite cliffs all around. Jeff and I first went there two years ago. A dear friend of mine is having major surgery right now- hysterectomy. She has cancer. If you have a spare moment, please keep her in your thoughts/prayers today.

Two of my good friends, Megan and Jim, got married Sunday. Saturday night, they had a rehearsal dinner/wedding show/preception potluck. So much delicious food! I made three pies for the occasion: pumpkin, apple, and chocolate cream. For the pumpkin, I actually used butternut squash. The apple pie was a hit!
