• My apartment is half clean. The kitchen is almost spotless. The balcony is cleared away enough that I can put a dwarf citrus tree there. We are winning the War On Bed Bugs.

1. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is really funny, and has fantastic writing. Jeff and I went on a "date" tonight in our apartment, and it was the movie "de la nuit" (as opposed to du jour).

• The weather has been gorgeous lately! I wish that all of you in cold climates could come spend an afternoon here with me. I've been able to eat my lunch outside every day and read in the sunshine. Hurrah!
