This was a good Saturday. Jeff and I ate two home-cooked meals together: crepes for breakfast and pasta with veggies and cumin for late lunch. Mmm! I just finished The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins tonight. It reminded me a lot of Graceling by Kristin Cashore. The book was really interesting. The protagonist, Katniss, was a wonderful character. I'm not normally a fan of first person. I've been under the weather all weekend. Not full blown sick, thank goodness. I've been eating soup and drinking lots of hot soothing beverages. My throat is the source of the problem. Opening night of Oliver went alright... we had mic problems, plus the gun didn't go off (again). The actor who gets shot was looked totally bewildered when the gun didn't go off when it should. So, the director yelled "BANG."

Finished this yesterday. Is it worth seeing the movie? Overall, I enjoyed the book. The author did a great job writing Borune's amnesia. Everything was incredibly detailed. I'm at the Albuquerque airport, at the end of my "micro vacation" to New Mexico. Saturday-Monday. I went shopping, ate delicious food, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
