I'm sitting at my computer sipping warm apple cider. I feel incredibly relaxed. Earlier this evening in rehearsal, I couldn't stop yawning. The King and I cast weren't released till 10pm. Even though I usually spend once a week working that late, it still drains me.

I decided to watch a Netflix movie tonight... The Oxford Murders with Elijah Wood and John Hurt. It's weird and mostly bad. The only thing good about it is listening to John Hurt speak. Yesterday was perfect. Jeff and I went to the Getty Center, and then to Santa Monica. The weather was gorgeous. The Getty had what could have been an awesome exhibit on Leonardo da Vinci. It was somewhat of a let down, though the sculptures were impressive ( Read more... )

The main room of my apartment, which contains the kitchen, dining area, two computer desks, a couch/our current bed at the moment, and the fireplace, is mostly cleared of junk. Yea! I was really enjoying the mild(er) summer weather- temperatures in the 80s/low 90s. Well, the heat wave is back! Yes, I know that Texas gets to 108 with humidity. But the high today in Simi Valley was 102. Thank God I was at work for most of that. Tomorrow, supposed to be 104. o.O ( Read more... )

Things that are wonderful

• The weather has been gorgeous lately! I wish that all of you in cold climates could come spend an afternoon here with me. I've been able to eat my lunch outside every day and read in the sunshine. Hurrah!

Here in Sunny Southern California, we don't start fall till maybe November. Even that is debatable. If you are on the coast, not so bad. Definitely cooler temperatures. If are you inland like me? Ha!
