Oh freedom, it's mine, and I know how I feel...

I was really enjoying the mild(er) summer weather- temperatures in the 80s/low 90s. Well, the heat wave is back! Yes, I know that Texas gets to 108 with humidity. But the high today in Simi Valley was 102. Thank God I was at work for most of that. Tomorrow, supposed to be 104. o.O

I am still enjoying the afterglow of my wonderful weekend. I went to a friend's house-warming party, and got to go to San Diego. We ate at the Turf Club in Golden Hill, where you grill your own meat. I had an extremely delicious steak, along with 2 Sidecars (fantastic cocktail with brandy, sweet and sour and other delights). They were so so tasty, and very deceptive. I downed them rather quickly, and found myself suddenly very tipsy after what felt like 30 minutes! At my friend's house-warming party, I had lovely conversation and possibly made new friends. I had some strange moments of silent fangirling for reasons I will keep to myself. :)

Work has been mega busy. We open a show in about seven weeks, which is semi far away. I've had a long list of projects for a while- it's generally about 7 pages long-, but I think it is going to increase after today.
