Last night, I had a weird nightmare. The whole thing somehow revolved around Hellraiser, a film I've never seen. Never read the Barker book it's based on either. But... I made the mistake of reading more about it recently after a friend mentioned he might screen it at his house. Sigh. The iconic monster of the Hellraiser series wasn't in the dream. I know I kept thinking about it, in between being in the dream, waking up, and falling asleep again. There was definitely running and hiding involved with the whole operation.
So, this morning, I've decided to confront whatever inspired last night's adventure. BAD IDEA! Seriously, Clive Barker comes up with the scariest and grossest images I've read. Reading the detailed plot synopsis of Hellraiser made eating breakfast unpleasant. :/
Friends, any non-horror book recs? I need something to make me feel better.
