I'm doing so good on cutting back on soda. I bought a 20oz Pepsi on Monday. It's Wednesday and I'm not even to the halfway mark. That's all I've had all week. None at home. I think by next week I can be completely soda free. Wouldn't that be nice? I've been drinking soda since baby bottles.

Trying to drink less soda is so difficult. I am such an addict. I was able to mostly quit throughout my pregnacy (a million years ago) because it was for E. I haven't been able to cut back/quit (for long) since. Yesterday I got my usual, can of Dr. Pepper, at lunch and managed to only drink half the can. Had an awesome time at Disneyland. I was a bit worried since J and I don't travel well together. We've had some really awful trips that usually end up with us not speaking to each other. Still doing well on my food change, but my weight loss has plateaued. I haven't lost an ounce in days.

Been doing really good...that is until about an hour ago. I got hungry on the way home from EG and had a burger at the drive-thru. First bread in almost a week. Blee. Other than that I've been doing really well.

Been reading "The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet" (by Robb Wolf) all week. I haven't even gotten to the actual "diet" (what to and not to eat) and I'm already down nearly 3 lbs (191 to 188.2 ( Read more... )
