Well maybe.
I got on the scale this morning, and though I was not surprised, I did have a wake up call. I'm too old (38) to be this heavy (5'0" and 191). I have a 5 yr old that needs his mother. I dont want to have a heart attack and leave him motherless.
Been hearing about Paleo/Primal living, a bit, here and there, for a short time. So I decided to look in to it further. I think I will give it a go. I added an ebook to my Amazon wish list that I will purchase tonight when I get home and I'll order a cookbook once I've finished the book.
We'll see how it goes. Something has to change...hopefully for the better.
So far today I've had a chicken breast (left overs from last nights dinner) and almonds for breakfast. Had salad greens with olive oil only, a scoop of tuna (light mayo and celery), and a plate of raw carrots, broccoli and cauliflower for lunch. Been guzzling water and no soda, juice or milk. Tonight, since I already planned it from the weekend we're having spaghetti w/meatballs, salad and garlic bread for dinner. Super carb heavy, but hopefully it will be the last meal of its kind and hopefully I go easy on the carbs on my plate.
