Oh, freak out!
In good news, I seem to have an apartment. For the 7th of January, but it's still better than I've had for the last month. They're still sorting out the paperwork - apparently I need a cosigner because they think I should only pay 1/4 to 1/3 of my income on rent (seriously, who does that?!) - but I've put down a deposit and the flat is off the ( Read more... ) -

Las Vegas: The not-the-strip
Okay, clearly I just can't keep myself out of casinos now! Actually, one of them I was going to anyways because it's also the closest cinema, and I wanted to go see Spider-man (sidenote: freakin' awesome!, not quite as completely unbelievably good as The Avengers, but really quite impressive nonetheless!).

Las Vegas Strip: The End
This is the end, the only end, my friend. I have today visited the the Stratosphere, which is widely regarded as the end of 'the Strip'. From here north, the strip splits into Las Vegas Blvd and Main St, the Blvd winds into downtown, and mostly the street is covered with marriage chapels, pawn shops and *really* dodgy bars. Feminist ranting, you know you want it.
Okay, since I'm back in Phoenix for a few days, having driven a bunch of my stuff down, and there are no casinos for me to visit, I'm going to rant about feminism, instead. Those things are basically interchangeable, right?
