I love my husband. I also love that he took off between Christmas and New Years because it meant that we didn't have to pay the nanny for a week (she took some PTO for the first week). Ok, Moira had her well baby last Thursday. She's 14 lbs, 14 oz and 26.5 inches long. 75% for weight and literally off the growth chart for height. Like, her dot is above the top line on the curve. So I was an hour later to work today than I wanted to be today, thanks to a minor fight with my husband. A lot of you don't know this, but I work for the State contractually, meaning I have no paid leave of any kind - no holiday, no vacation, no sick.
