Has anyone used eWedding.com?

I've been looking at TONS of wedsites from MyWedding.com, but their site seems to be geared more to US weddings...

Where are you Canadian brides registering? I'm pretty pissed that Canadian Tire doesn't offer a registry anymore. That would have been my first choice. I also checked out The Bay, but their website says you have to complete your registry in person and also if you want to add or delete things from it afterwards, you have to contact them, you can't ( Read more... )

cheap officiants in ottawa, on??
i know about all seasons weddings, but they seem expensive to me.

So I'm looking for a little advice, or at the very least some share-and-tell on similar experiences.

Also for those in canada (ottawa) is $320 reasonable for an officiant? I have no idea, i thought it seemed fine but my mom thinks it's way too much... I dunno!

We're getting married in Vancouver, BC in October 2009. We think we've found a great venue for our reception, but it has one serious downside - we can't have the ceremony there!

We have some limitations:

• needs to be affordable (definitely under $1000, preferably $500 or less)
• NO churches
