Aw, you guys look so cute and happy in your picture! I love that sari you're wearing, the colors are gorgeous.

Are you using Indian style wedding invitations? Some of them are so freaking beautiful I can't even stand it. Someone in this comm posted some she got from one of the major Indian wedding invitation retailers online that were gorgeous little scrolls in boxes. I'm sure they cost a mint, but they were wonderful.

Thanks! The colors are really nice; I'm glad the photographer managed to capture that for us.

We are using Indian style invitations, but his dad is going to buy them in India. We showed him a few we liked (no scrolls, I think the cost of mailing 150 of those out would be too much) and he'll see what he can find that are similar. I'm not too picky about them, really; I know a lot of people don't actually keep them, even though I'd like to think otherwise. ;)

I remember her post and perused the website with the invitations. If we were ordering online, her recommendation would probably have sealed it for us with that website.

Awesome, I would imagine they'll be significantly less expensive in India. I'm sure those scrolls were pricy to mail, but I have seen a lot of non-scroll ones that are really pretty.

Oh, I'm so jealous! I friend of mine is from Pakistan and I've seen pictures of her wedding and her brothers wedding and the clothes / jewelry / makeup are just beautiful!
