I'm using weddingwire.com I just searched for Vancouver, Canada vendors and it recognized it. I can't promise anything about the amount of content, but it did have an accurate map up...
There's also a site called www.canadianbride.com but I don't know if it is a "The Knot" style site or not.
I haven't seen that they do. They have a guest list where you can mark RSVPs for each guest, and great ways to organize that, but I have not seen the electronic RSVP feature that I have noticed other people mentioning here before.
I'm Canadian and I use ewedding.com I like it a lot, but there's nothing particularly Canadian about my website I especially liked the fact that I was able to change the section titles here it is: http://www.ewedding.com/sites/helene4alexandre (but it's in French and Portuguese)
Canadian (marrying in Ontario) and using Mywedding.com. Haven't had any issues or anything with it. You can also change the Section Titles on mywedding. We searched and checked out quite a few before deciding on mywedding. It's easy to use and offered what we're after.
We don't have that much up yet (we have the data in, but haven't turned on some of the pages until we either have more info or it's closer to our date - people don't have invitations yet, but some have the website, so we're waiting to put up hotel info until the invitations go out), but if you wanted to check it out:
I use eWedding. Apparently it's incorporated in Canada, so each month when I get charged the 4.95 (I upgraded so I could get some added features) my card also charges me an .11 foreign transaction fee, haha (I'm in the US).
I have no idea how good it is for Canada. I've gotten annoyed with it when formatting individual pages because it'll randomly change the font color and make it appear orange when I want it to be gray. It's pretty user friendly, it's just been really annoying with trying to get the fonts right.

Ideally I'd like to use my own webspace, but I have no idea how to script the RVSP thing xD

There's a CSS code you can use that'd probably prevent that random colour change.

If you know anything about hex codes it'll be pretty easy.
