So it's Christmas week, eh? I always feel so bittersweet during this week. On one hand, Christmas is my favorite day of the year, December my favorite month... you know the drill. I'm obsessed. But on the other hand, it's about to end. :( I pretty much start my countdown to Christmas the day after Christmas. I'm not even joking either.

So I haven't updated in a few days. I've been tired, plus terribly busy for some reason. Jason came into town on Monday so I spent a lot of time with him. He stayed the night over here with all of us on Monday night, and then Tuesday we went with him up to his parents' place about an hour away for Thanksgiving dinner. So, a bit longer of a time than I planned between updates. A lot has happened between the last update and now.... primarily the surgery I had to remove my spleen. I'm glad that's out of there, but it's a little bit rough recovering from that. My incision is in the center of my abdomen, and goes from right in between of my breasts to below my belly ( Read more... )

So, Minerva's pretty much the cutest thing ever. I'm finally getting the hang of taking care of a reptile. She really likes me too, and seems to prefer me over Tony at this point. X) Sometimes she'll let me rub her chin or the side of her face and close her eyes... once she even pushed her little head into my finger. She's adorable ( Read more... )
