(no subject)
So, a bit longer of a time than I planned between updates. A lot has happened between the last update and now.... primarily the surgery I had to remove my spleen. I'm glad that's out of there, but it's a little bit rough recovering from that. My incision is in the center of my abdomen, and goes from right in between of my breasts to below my belly button. Yea. Big one. :/
I started a CaringBridge.org site for my more cancer-related things. I'll probably keep it a little more updated than LJ, but I'll post links to it in LJ so it's kind of all the same. My site is here:

Things are good at home. Ruka's growing like a damn WEED. I'm not sure if I posted that the kitten's name changed from Rose to Ruka, but it did. She's still a scraggly little runt, and possibly has ringworm. :/ I'm treating it though so she should be ok. She gets her first shots next week already. :O
Both kitties have had strange breathing problems today. Chloe has been sneezing all night and occasionally seems to have issues breathing, and Ruka also seemed to struggle for breath earlier. They both seem ok otherwise though. Just keeping a close eye on them.
I still have lots of photos I haven't posted from when Ondrej was here, etc. I should throw a few of those in here. ;) So I will.

So that was a fantastic week, and that night with the group photos might be my favorite night of all time. Almost all of my closest friends together in one sitting - it was heavenly. <3 I wish I could relive that week. Perhaps someday. :3
I guess that's good for an update for now. I probably have more things I haven't thought of but I really need to lay down for a bit - my back's getting rather sore and I'm getting tired overall. Tomorrow Tony and I are taking an impromptu trip to St. Louis since his band's plan to go perform in Minneapolis this weekend was blown. He's off work so we're going to go see the arch and possibly go see the Budweiser clydesdales and go to White Castle and stoof. It should be fun - I'm excited. :3 I'll report from the other side - with photos of course!
