A few weeks ago I asked for help in putting quilt blocks together. Thanks so much. drinkingcocoa's advice was perfect, so clearly stated, that I was able to understand it easily and sew the blocks together with only a few mis-steps.

My gift to my nephew, Stevie Ray, is a Kobo E-reader. It is not on his Wish list, which included game called Modern War, a bean bag chair, headphones and a pile of Lego.  However, he does love to read and this way he can carry books to read on the bus when he commutes to school each day. Made myself quite ill with spray adhesive fumes Sunday. Do Not Use indoors!  Damn rain. Nausea, headache, cough. Dogs appear unaffected thank goodness. Looks for fan.

Feeling icky- still not recovered from the cig smoke attack on my sinuses from last weekend. Took one day off work, slept on my day off - this weekend, puttering, but also needing to take decongestants and stronger pain pills. Must get my ears re-candled soon.

Here are some pics of our Canton's contribution to the Festival of Trees in Peterborough. My handmade paper stars - gold and white- stand out as they are several times larger than the other ornaments.
