I spent the weekend away in Ottawa. Travelled with my sister and two friends to an SCA event and to see the Viking Exhibit at the Canadian Museum of History. Behind us is a reconstructed ship's sail.

Living and working in a small village has some advantages. While driving from one patient to another today, I came across a minor car accident. This made it possible for me to resuce dear brother whose car has been badly damaged. An elderly man drove right into him, not stopping at the stop sign. Still alive, struggling with pain and depression. Latest doctor visit not helpful as she's referred me to a pain clinic. Why didn't she do this 6 weeks ago? Didn't help that appt was at 11:45, but I wasn't seen til 1:45. I understand delays happen, but it would have been nice to know so I could feed parking meter. Taking a five day weekend to go to the last SCA camping event this year. Trying out the new truck for packing all the stuff, I have the majority of the equipment packed. A long day fiddling has ended with this stage of the Tudor bodice. I need to work on tightening the underbust to tame left boob. Also need to deal with squished titties by moving straps further outwards.

Had some SCA folks over to brunch. On the wrong side of midnight, (had to take a break in the early evening to get pain under control), went to grab container of icing sugar, couldn't find it.
