Living and working in a small village has some advantages. While driving from one patient to another today, I came across a minor car accident. This made it possible for me to resuce dear brother whose car has been badly damaged. An elderly man drove right into him, not stopping at the stop sign. I called the people who were waiting to be seen that I would be late, then drove dear brother home.
His car appears to be too badly damaged to be repaired. Now we have to go through all the nonsense with the insurance folks.
I really want to go the the SCA event this weekend, but I'm tired, the house is a tip and I need to get my garb sorted. Work has been challenging. There is an ice dam causing water to leak into the newly renovated craft room. Good thing the floor hasn't been laid. Means that all work has to stop until the 18 inches of ice on the roof melts. Other jobs to be done around the house however. Just means that the chaos will remain for a few more weeks.
