Sunday randomness
The change in weather caused me to spend the morning in bed, my head in a pillow sandwich, waiting for my migraine to run it's course.
My 'built-in bookcases are now completed. Books are almost completely re-shelved. Pic spam later this week.
There is a conspiracy against my finishing a project. One part has to be totally replaced, damage caused by a poltiergiest unfixable, which calls for a drive to the nearest big town- after work tomorrow. While I'm there I'm going to have to buy another roll of thread. The one I was using just half an hour ago has vanished. Sweeping, pulling the furniture out and checking the couch cushions has failed. It did result in the carpet being hoovered, the dust bunnies swept from under the coach and the rubbish bin emptying. So now my living room is tidy, but the project is stalled.
Earlier, my internet was not working.The error message was 'authentication failed', so of course I re-entered my password and tried several times before calling tech support. I do hate call centres staffed by people who think that I have the IQ of a rock. Of course I checked the password! Two hours, four tech support staff, 2 supervisors and six phone calls later I was told the problem was on their end!
Barbara Brackman emailed me to say that she has posted Subvers book on her blog.
