A Gift of Words

My gift to my nephew, Stevie Ray, is a Kobo E-reader. It is not on his Wish list, which included game called Modern War, a bean bag chair, headphones and a pile of Lego.  However, he does love to read and this way he can carry books to read on the bus when he commutes to school each day. An E-reader is not something thieves will target the same way

prefer the looks of that to the kindle. Great idea to put it in a 'book'.

Wired Magazine has named the Kobo top e-reader. It's easy to put all sorts of books on, using Calibre free software. It reads e-pub and PDF. I understand it works well for Europeans. Kribu has one.

I don't like being tied to one company, nor do I want anyone to have control over content which I understand Amazon has the ability to do.

yeah, i have caliber too with over 5,000 books on it, so i won't be troubling amazon in the near future.

One year I gave him the Dangerous Book for boys with a wooden box containing, cord, folding knife, magnifying glass and magnet. He kinda freaked out his teacher by taking the knife to school.
