101 Goals Update - May 2009
Last year, I started a crazy task: complete 101 goals in 1001 days. It's been a year now, or 380 days to be exact, and while I'm nowhere near 38% done my 101 goals, I would at least say I'm not displeased with my progress. I'm at the point where there are goals on this list I know for sure I won't complete, but I'm still hopeful about others that ( Read more... ) -

Time for a memory test
You know you're a total, total nerd when you're thinking of your journal content in terms of retrospective and prospective memory (ex. my upcoming To-Do list) and why some things have been forgotten and what memories have been altered possibly. But yesterday's Memory class was on metamemory, so I'm gonna blame it on that.

Surprise
He thought his secret was perfect, but the strong scent of cacao gave him away. Dark. Venezuelan. I feign wonder as I tug and the ribbon yields. But my surprise is genuine as the chocolate melts into crisp apple and pear.
His smile tells me he planned it all along.
