101 Goals Update - May 2009

May 20, 2009 19:09

Last year, I started a crazy task: complete 101 goals in 1001 days. It's been a year now, or 380 days to be exact, and while I'm nowhere near 38% done my 101 goals, I would at least say I'm not displeased with my progress. I'm at the point where there are goals on this list I know for sure I won't complete, but I'm still hopeful about others that ( Read more... )

85) meet with high school friends at least once (at least 3 different friends, together or separately; Laine does not count, and Ian doesn't count if with Laine)
Jerk :P

Man, you and knitting is like me and video games. I randomly picked up some old GBA games and got totally nostalgic before realizing that I hadn't touched these games in over 2 years and I had _no_ idea what I was doing when I last saved. (Also I realized that my completed save file for yggdra union somehow managed to get lost in The Great Hard Drive Crash Part Two, and now I'm stuck on fucking battle 43 AGAIN. I HATE that battle.)

How was TWEY? I never got over the bollocksed controls :P
Also you've totally beaten Mario Kart DS. Also also, we need to have another mini mini LAN party. <3 dokapon journey. Although story mode takes freaking forever.

It's true.
Ironically enough, I end up not playing anything that relies heavily on the stylus (exception being chocobo tales)... mostly because a) gimmicky/controls are inaccurate and b) my screen is semi-bollocksed and doesn't respond well :P

I played TWEwY for the story. The fighting was annoying like hell, but I got over it. Except I can't beat the extra bosses to unlock the extra story stuff. Damn it.

I wonder when story mode of Dokapon actually ends. I need to pick it up again at some point Maybe. Like all the other games on my R4.

I have a novel by a Canadian writer for you: Autobiography of Red. It's a very endearing story written in wonderful poetry. I read it for my English class in first year but it turned out to be one of my favorite books (maybe top 3).

I remember you talking about it. I didn't realize it was by a Canadian author though. If you own it, maybe I'll pick it up from you next time I'm around?

Yes? But it's okay. But why?

If you can make it a double blind date (with Liz, yes), go for it = )
