I am in Colorado. Cheyenne Mountain is jaw-dropping and still snow-capped. The grocery store a block from my house stocks Kashi and organic produce. My future-coworkers were elated to hear that I had arrived and are eagerly awaiting my inprocessing. I've accepted a job offer--permanent and with benefits--at a library on the Fort Carson military base in Colorado Springs. I leave in two weeks.

Currently the terror is overwhelming the anticipation but if anybody knows anyone in the Colorado Springs area, I'd be grateful for an introduction.
