Rocky Mountain Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh~

I am in Colorado. Cheyenne Mountain is jaw-dropping and still snow-capped. The grocery store a block from my house stocks Kashi and organic produce. My future-coworkers were elated to hear that I had arrived and are eagerly awaiting my inprocessing. My dad came out with me and stayed until this morning, so I had use of his rental car to run around getting my apartment set up until my household goods arrive next week. I am going to the movies tonight with the daughter of one of my dad's old friends, who works in museum studies.

Things are looking up.

And not just because HOLY SHIT HAVE YOU SEEN THESE MOTHERFUCKING MOUNTAINS.

Also, I apparently do not get altitude sickness.
