Today I sneaked off to see "The King's Speech." It's a dear movie but I had hesitated seeing it because I don't like Geoffrey Rush for mostly irrational reasons. There are places I could discuss "Mad Men" but not places where I could spin it around back to Man From U.N.C.L.E. Obviously Don Draper is a Napoleon-type. I don't know if there is a Waverly really, and certainly it exists too early in the 60s (so far) for an Illya. Just when, as instructed by Stchrsipin, I was trying so hard to put aside the weird story line of Peggy's surprise baby, she has sex, apropos of little, with Duck. She had even returned the Hermes scarf he gave her, so why? The Duck character is even less likable than her baby-daddy, Peter. There's nothing plausible about this turn of events. I didn't watch the first MFU episode when it was shown, still, happy U.N.C.L.E. anniversary, God bless and all that. Though I am not entirely sure, I have a memory of watching "Green Opal."
