Mad Men Aug 1
I gave last week's episode a pass but this week's was more of the same. Dull. I had thought the Beatles on Ed Sullivan might have pushed the narrative forward but no, they are not mentioned. I had thought the idea of the new business, the new ad agency might have meant something. No again. Joanie is not really back and Peggy is as weird as ever. It's all mind numbingly boring and not a show I have to watch. I am so disappointed in "Mad Men." I don't really know if it was ever that good but I made peace with it. This year I hate it.
