On October 15th, members of the American Idol fic community aific were informed by their moderator, fakeplasticsnow that one of the applicants to the community, camisadoluvsu , had plagiarized one of the stories she'd presented to the community in her application.
More stories were then reported as plagiarized by members of the bandom and Panic! At the Disco fandoms.

On October 31, 2009, the moderators of the Supernatural community deancastiel received an email from southernbangel reporting that marcalbabe had plagiarized a BtVS story by tangofic. southernbangel had also commented on marcalbabe's post to deancastiel linking to Chapter 1 of the story in question.

On Setpember 26th, 2009, we received a report from nrgburst of a possible plagiarism regarding her story "Full Circle". She reported than an author by the name of 1lightofdiamondz1 had posted her store on Quizilla under the title, "Final Fantasy 3".
