I'm a bit iffy on this one, but at the same time, the coincidences are pretty suspicious. The newer story is short and doesn't have a lot of clarity, but what I managed to get out of it reflects much of the older story -- just in a condensed form.

i_stalk_piccolo reported on August 28, 2009, that BrokenFlames had plagiarized a sentence from a story on fanfiction.net. She also reported that BrokenFlames had plagiarized parts of her stories the prior year, but because she hadn't known of this community, she didn't report it at that time.

On November 23, hamrensel reported possible plagiarism of Gia’s story, Secrets and Lies, on the part of Angel-Buffy17 on fanfiction.net. hamrensel provided screencaps of Chapter IX of Gia’s story and Chapter 5 of Angel-Buffy17’s story.
